[Using Sakai] Fancy forums?

Sakai has at least (it can be hard to keep track) three forum tools.
The default forum tool that comes with Sakai is rather old and not
really up to the standards of modern forum applications. JForum was
ported by Foothillls College a few years back. It has more features but
isn't all that integrated (has it's own user profiles, for example).
There is a third, I believe, but I don't recall what it is.
You have even more options these days. It would not be difficult to
wrap any forum tool (like PHPForum) using IMS LTI. A bit of code, a
hosting environment, and viola! a new forum tool.
