[Using Sakai] WebDAV and CAS

It's not really an old problem, it's a client problem. If the client isn't
able to do 302 style redirects to the CAS login page, then you can't use
CAS. Every external client like Cyberduck/Anyclient/NetDrive and OS clients
that mount drives won't redirect to any login page, it's a straight http or
other auth. It might be "possible" if the only dav client you allowed was a
web browser like Firefox and IE to get something like that to work, but
it's also possible that they won't do a login redirect either for the dav
protocol.

Basically you have to use CAS on the front and use something like kerberos,
ldap (whatever the CAS is hooked up to) to also authenticate the DAV part
via that provider.
