[Using Sakai] [Building Sakai] Differentiating Message of the Day (MOTD)

sorry, but your reply made me remind we developped at UFP a modified MOTD
tool, MOTD2, which allows to specify if messages are shown to
authenticated/anonymous users, instructors, the type of message (adds a
small icon and different skin for different types), time period to
display,.....

We use it for internal-only messages, and for public maintenance/upgrade
messages. It works with 2.7 (we have it in production) but we do not have
the resources anymore to work on it.

We don't have it on the contrib tools list right now, but I can send it if
there is interest.

regards,
Feliz
