Hi Fatima,
This is David Roldán Martínez from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain). We have our marks in a separated repository as on-line grades are only 20 % of the total course grade. Our custom-developed application for marks is integrated with Sakai using a view (I can send you the sql sentence, if you need it).
I don't understand your problem with "magical" content but maybe if you give me more details I can provide your further help.
Cheers,
David

Asunto: [Building Sakai] SAKAI as central repository for marks?
Hi All
Having just migrated to SAKAI from WEBCT , our University is now looking to see whether we could utilise SAKAI as our central repository for marks. Whilst I am concerned that this may be too an ambitious move just yet(too premature especially since we have had just experienced an instance of content disappearing from a course and then magically returning:)- we still haven’t determined what the problem was and am presently keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn’t occur again!) I would however like to enquire from the community if there are any instances where SAKAI has been used as the primary repository for marks and what the experience has been ?
Your input is always much appreciated. Just love the sharing that this forum provides!
