[samigo-team] What Samigo work in 2.9.3 Sakai?

Hi Laura,

Do you have a Jira id for it?

It is much easier to get a bug fix into a maintenance release than a new feature, which this sounds like this is. The TCC criteria for adding an enhancement is here - https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/TCC/Maintenance+Branch+Merge+Policy . Even if the Jira does meet some or all of the criteria, we are trying to keep the scope of 2.9.3 down to a minimum, so a request like this would stand a better chance of getting into 2.9.x (after 2.9.3 is complete). You could start the process now to get the change into 2.9.x . Once a fix is in 2.9.x it makes it easier for institutions to take advantage of the change and it will, by definition, become part of the next official release (aka tag) for CLE 2.9, meaning when a 2.9.4 release happens, the feature would be a part of it.

If there are important bugs that have been fixed in Samigo that did not make it into 2.9.2, those would be better candidates, especially if they have already been tested/verified in trunk.

Thanks,
Neal

AntiSamy is security infrastructure for ensuring user-supplied HTML/CSS is in compliance within an application's rules. Some bug fixes and translations are also going to be added to the release. Our target for the 2.9.3 schedule is sometime in July.
