I would keep it generic in the proposal and description - but by the time you give the talk - we may have more substantive things to say. We get to initial alignment in the meeting before the conference starts and do more thinking about resources and schedule in the post-conference meeting.

So at your EU talk - it needed to stay vague - but by the June conference you won't be dacning quite so much :)

It is not like we are keeping secrets - we just don't' know yet. We need to see how things unfold between now and June and being together with beer also helps to get clarity on the collective position / plans.

Make sense?

I did get a couple of comments though, that institutions would like a clearer roadmap and timeline into the future. While I recognize the constraints of providing such a roadmap and timeline, if we can develop something substantive and a good way of answering those concerns, we might win some additional confidence and allies in our process.
