Hello fellow committee members,
I wanted to take some time to summarize the conference call on May 12th.

Discussion with Ian Dolphin

* There was a great discussion with Ian about a variety of topics. Notes are available in the etherpad: http://etherpad.ctools.org/tcc-20110512

LA Conference CLE Project Coordination
There was consensus that rather than being a report out session this time should be spent as an active working meeting. The agenda was scoped to be small with appointed members of the TCC facilitating each topic

* Sakai 2.9 (moderated by Seth & Megan)

*         Sakai 2.10 (moderated by Chuck S)

* CLE Development/Design/Testing Resources (moderated by Beth)

* Builds & Release Cycles (moderated by Anthony)

* Wiki & JIRA Cleanup (moderated by Aaron & JFL)

* Organize BOFs on other topics (all) - 5 minute standups to introduce ideas and gauge interest for later meetups

The facilitator of each topic should have some material that is circulated prior to the F2F meeting so participants have time to understand topics.

Formal TCC Evaluation
A proposal to take a 3 pronged approach was floated that included

1) Self-reflection - each member of the TCC provides evaluation of activity

2) Targeted Feedback - specific individual

3) Community Survey - short survey is circulated to the community

The participants of the call thought that the targeted feedback could be dropped. A small subcommittee is working on questions for a community wide survey that be sent out prior to the conference. I suspect a draft of these should be forthcoming soon :)

We did not touch on TCC Membership during our call so I plan to pick this up once the evaluation and the conference happenings are solidified more.

Please let me know I have summarized something incorrectly or if you have comments on a particular agenda item,

All the best,
Megan
