[Using Sakai] Assignment resubmission sakai 2.9.x

Hi all,

I have something that looks like a bug but I can't find a Jira for it. To reproduce:


1.       Create an assignment with a due date(the original assignment tool)

2.       When the time goes past the due date mark allow resubmissions to allow students to resubmit.

3.       Then try to do a submission with a student who hasn't done a submission before. The problem is that the student doesn't get a submit button and cant submit.

Has anyone seen this problem before, fix?
