Okay, this is too weird. I just created a "bob" account and got in !

What the heck?

I used all the same fields I see in your screen shot , except bob4 for 
the account name. I used bob for the password. I'm going to see if I can 
figure out the pattern.

I totally agree about the "freakin'" part btw. Yeah, that's about right. ;-)
