[Using Sakai] Calendar Subscriptions

Hi, Adam.

Time ago (in Sakai 2.5.3) we tested the experimental iCal subscriptions
and we decided not to use them because there were several important
issues to be solved. Nowadays, the JIRA tickets still seem to be in that
state.

-Re-ocurring events unsupported
(https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-11486)
-Untimed events unsupported (https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-9928)
-All day events and events missing summary not imported
(https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-13490)

However, these were minor issues compared to the worst one: if any user
subscribed a site to one external calendar, all the site users received
the events in their MyWorkspace Calendar, no matter they wanted or not
(http://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-15544)

As you are using the calendar subscriptions, I wonder if you have
managed to solve these issues in your local deployment.

Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
