We are just tidying this up (after a few teething problems). I will try to get a patch together in the next few weeks.

we would hope to get this into 2.10 and will be merging into our version of 2.8 in the next couple of months, actually, the 2.8 merge may already have been done. I will check and let you know.

That sounds very interesting - this is exactly what I was looking for. The next step is to allow write access a la Google Calendars but I admit that is far more complex (esp. the security model).

If it was too late for 2.9 which is scheduled for Q1 2012, then does that mean it will make 2.10 toward end 2012?

How complex is it to apply it to 2.8.0?

One can always subscribe to public calendars, the main issue with this is that

1/ the calendar must be exported

2/ there is no way that a student can find out the URL of the ical feed.

If you mean subscribe to a NON-PUBLIC calendar then we have just finished some code that will allow this. When I say just ... I mean like yesterday.

Here's the help guide.

We can supply the code upon request and will be adding a patch to jira in due course. It's a shame it didn't quite make it for 2.9

Howdy

Are users able to subscribe to their calendars (schedule tool) at all?
