[Using Sakai] Assignment tool letter grades in gradebook

Hi Marilyn,

Yes.  This is indeed the case.  The Gradebook and Gradebook 2 tools only perform calculations on points-based assignments.  That said, the gradebook can (and does) show both the percentage value and letter-grade value of the up-to-date average for that student.
