Thanks Michael. This method looks very promising. I'll have to give it a
try. Losing the synoptic tools is not too much of an issue, since I
want to reclaim real estate on the home page anyway.
Also, the book itself seems to be exactly what I've been looking for as
an introduction to Sakai for tech-savvy newbies.
