I'm looking into this. It may be that one of our patches is not in 2.7.1. As for the quartz job, its bean tag needs to be uncommented in $TOMCAT_HOME/components/scheduler-component/WEB-INF/components.xml

As for the documentation, it's long overdue for an update. That's on me.
