[WG: Sakai QA] Anyone have Conditional Release up and running?

We have done some limited testing with conditional release in 2.7.1. The options to set conditions on a resource are available in Edit Details, but no matter what condition is selected, the dropdown always reverts to "Due date has passed." The resource is always visible to students regardless of the visibility settings.

There is a reference to a Quartz job associated with conditional release on this page:
http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/CR/Installation+Guide
but enabling conditional release in our 2.7.1 instance did not create the quartz job. Is it supposed to? The documentation for conditional release is confusing - no clear documentation of the required properties settings and confusing information related to the fact that it is shown as part of 2.7.x but installation documentation refers to 2.4.

Hi all,

I intend next week to bring up and down qa1-nl with various configurations to test specific features such as conditional release etc. I will send a schedule to this list once I get back from holiday. I believe qa1-za and a few other sites are up with 2.8. Corey, please review http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/QA/QA+Servers+-+Sakai+2.8 I believe qa1-za and qa3-us are up to date, but have forgotten to update thier details.

Corey is it possible to make rSmarts effort more visible at: http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/QA/2.8.0+Changes to avoid duplication of sparse resources.

I believe both Marist and Rutgers are providing support to this cycle and hopefully will be documenting their efforts in the same location in confluence.

The only Test Server I see running it is 2.8 (qa1-nl) and its not working there. We are trying to run it in 2.7.1 and we're not having any luck.
