Neal's proposal states very clearly that current Mailman subscribers
will be moved to the new Apereo lists.

I think accepting mail -- perhaps with an autoresponder -- is
acceptable. Of course, we are dealing with Google, so I have no idea
if any of this is even possible with minimal pain.
