It sounds like #2 is solved, we can use the old style URL's to the
archives. (btw, I am not going to move the source archives, because that
doesn't make any sense).

#1 sounds like it is still under discussion. If we auto-respond about the
move, I would say no more than about a month before we turn it off. At
least that seems reasonable to me.
