[Building Sakai] Creating Custom Realms

Hello,

I would like to know whether it is possible to create custom realms that
are term dependent. I.e. is it possible to create a custom realm that
functions like the course realm. It would be really great to do this
somehow, since we have different course types (e.g. lectures, seminars...)
and would like to have different permissions for the users depending on
the type.
