[Building Sakai] Problem with evaluation tool

If you can you need to do the following two things:

1/ open the 'Administrate' page on both your test and live systems. Make sure the same options are selected on both systems. It sounds like you want to make sure the live settings are also on the test server.

2/ for a given site that includes the Surveys tool, use the Realms tool in the Admin Workspace to make sure the permissions are the same on the live and test services. This will ensure that for this one site, you should have identical permissions in both environments. You will probably want to modify the template that is used to create sites on your test server to have the correct permissions. I am not sure what the template will be called but all you do is use the Realms tool to set up the correct template permissions and then save.

Please could someone explain "step by step" what I need to do to fix this problem. I am new to Sakai and am not sure how to implement the suggestions so far. Perhaps someone from opencollab.co.za could also comment since they are more familiar with the customisations to the realms that were done for our institution.
