[Building Sakai] Audio recording as new assignment type

What mechanism do you use to record audio on the student's computer?
 Flash, Java applet, HTML5 audio recording apis?  We've been discussing in
other threads the need to replace the Samigo audio recording Java applet as
nearly all operating systems and browsers have disabled Java applet support.
