We use exactly the same as Samigo. When Samigo change the mechanism we will
update this patch.

What mechanism do you use to record audio on the student's computer? Flash,
Java applet, HTML5 audio recording apis? We've been discussing in other
threads the need to replace the Samigo audio recording Java applet as nearly
all operating systems and browsers have disabled Java applet support.

Hi Neal and everybody.
I have applied on my local synchronized trunk another pretty feature
that Samoo did for us (spanish universities): a new assignment type
where students can record audio, just the same way that in Samigo (in
fact, the applet is the same).
I have uploaded the patch for trunk to
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-20555 with installation
instructions in the comments, as is a binary patch with several images
included and is trickier that usual text patches.
If somebody want to take a look on it and test it in some QA server,
spanish universities would be really happy of having this feature as
part of official future releases.
Hope it helps.
Best regards.
