[Building Sakai] blti tool question

Am I asking for trouble if I try to run the basic lti 1.3.5 version (instead of the 1.1.5 that we were running) in a sakai 2.7 instance?
Very preliminary testing (about 5 minutes worth) has been ok.  Are there deeper issues just lurking around the corner?
