[Building Sakai] Problem building trunk (2.9-SNAPSHOT) with maven 3?

Currently because of the Sakai Maven Plugin (and possibly some other
things), Sakai doesn't build with Maven 3. (SAK-19311). OSX snuck in Maven 3
as the default Maven version.
