[Building Sakai] Gradebook Options does not display (specifically Grades sent to Gradebook)

We have been able to reproduce it in multiple sites, under multiple users with multiple assessment types.

Hi Paul,
Could you check a setting in your Sakai 501-01-201020 course?  If you go to:
Test/Quizzes
Select any Test/Quiz
Click Settings
Which of the following screens do you see?  Thanks Paul!
Option A offers 3 options, Option B only two.  Gradebook Options is missing from Option B.

Does this happen to this specific site only? Can you reproduce this issue using the same assessment type in other sites? Can you reproduce this issue using the same site with other assessment types? By reading the code, these are the only two conditions control the show/hide of Gradebook Option.

Yes, both of those items were checked on already. I even thought it might have something to do with having Gradebook 2 selected instead of Gradebook but that didn't help either.

Hi Doreen,

Does this happen to a certain site? I can think of two possibilities. Can you first make sure you have Gradebook tool in the site? Then go to the assessment type of that assessment. Make sure you have "Can edit default value (below)?" checked under Gradebook Options.

I have done several tests and based upon the options I select fro the Grading category I can get that entire category to be hidden so part of it is functioning for use. However regardless of the options I select I can not get the Gradebook Options of None or Grades sent to Gradebook to display for the user. That entire subsection of Grading is hidden from the user.
When the look at the settings for an assessment they see 
Grading
Students' Identities
 Students' identities can be seen by graders
 Anonymous grading only


Recorded Score If Multiple Submissions per User
 Record the highest score
 Record the last score


Even though the assessment type is setup in the following manner
Grading
Students' Identities
Can edit default value (below)?
 Students' identities can be seen by graders
 Anonymous grading only


Gradebook Options
Can edit default value (below)?
 None
 Grades sent to Gradebook


Recorded Score If Multiple Submissions per User
Can edit default value (below)?
 Record the highest score
 Record the last score


We are running 2.7.1. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
