[Building Sakai] Help Regarding Giving rights to the user

hi to all,
I have a few Questions.

1.  What are connections in Sakai?? I mean why are they used??
2.  How a profile can be made public in Sakai?? that can be browsed through
web
3.  How can a 'My workspace' can be made public like other course and
project sites.
4.  How can we give access to the faculty of just creating project sites but
not course site. while admin should be able to create course and project
sites
5. From where can I change my Time Zone from GMT to GMT+5 there is no option
of GMT+5 in timezone??
Please reply.... thanx for the help in advance.
