[Building Sakai] Branching Sakai 2.9 today

Chris Mauer and I are working on create a 2.9.x branch today.  After
today, the feature freeze against trunk will be lifted, and new
features committed to trunk will be destined for 2.10.x.  We will
update the list when branching is complete.

We expect to release 2.9.0 beta 01 at the end of this week.  The
beta01 will be built from the newly-created branch.
