Peter,

The nightly.sh script is still the definitive source for current builds of OAE and Hybrid integration. A few things:

1) I suspect you may be hitting an old URL for the nightly hybrid server. You can always find the latest links to nightly instances at: http://sakai3-nightly.uits.indiana.edu/ (i.e. you were still probably connection to port 8080 instead of now 8088).

2) In addition to steps in nightly.sh, you will also need a reverse proxy sitting in front of both the S2 CLE and OAE instances. See sakai23hybrid.conf at [1] which is a working apache httpd 2.2.x config.

3) Steve Githens recently updated the README file at [1] (thanks Steve!). However, there is still work to do on a more general HOWTO document.

Let me know if you want to hop on a phone call and we can work through any issues you may with installation locally.

Best, L

Hi All,

I am just wondering whether there is a good installation guide for Sakai 2+3 Hybrid. I have only found this nightly.sh and have some clues how the integration of the Sakai3 +2 is processed.

The Indiana’s nightly demo server for Sakai 2+3 does not allow new user to register and the register page is not work somehow.

It will be highly appreciated if someone can give some light on this.

Thanks a lot!
