[Building Sakai] [Announcements] Deprecation Notice: kernel static covers

-1, while I agree that injection is the preferred approach, it is my
believe that eliminating the static covers RAISES the barrier to writing
Sakai tools. Furthermore, there are likely many existing contrib tools
that use covers that would require significant modification. While I'm
in favor of good programming techniques, I think eliminating this
approach to Sakai development is a bad idea.
