Daphne,
Concerning the Evaluation page....
I've attached a sample of UMD campus wide evaluation, which raises the following questions....
How will N/A be displayed ?
Am I correct that the middle radio buttons labels will not be displayed, just Strongly Disagree - Neutral - Strongly Agree ?
How will the smaller scales be displayed ?
Primary and secondary questions bold or not ? When entering a question or item header, the FCKeditor allows you the option to bold or not and quite a few others. I would hate to see this option taken away.
Will the Save & complete later button be an option on the administrate screen ? This is not something we are interested in
Is there an issue with 7pt scales is a question block? I was able to process an 8pt scale questions to a template.
Thanks,
Rick

Subject: [Contrib: Evaluation System] Fwd: Some UI updates to run by the community
Hi again,
After a design review with Gary at Unicon this morning, I realize that it may not be clear what changes are being proposed as local versus community changes. Or at least it wasn't clear to me. I've added 2 sections under the wireframes on confluence (below) that describe changes that would be in our local CSS versus those that will be made to the community code. I'm hoping to have some discussion about those that would affect the main code. Which hopefully ends in +1s to make the changes.
I'm not sure the best way to do this. Suggestions?
Here are the confluence pages again:

Btw -- I've copied a few people that I think are fairly active in the community along with a couple Tracey & Gary who aren't on the list but are part of our Berkeley project.

Subject: [Contrib: Evaluation System] Some UI updates to run by the community
Hi all,
UC Berkeley is running a pilot with Eval Sys this semester. In prep
for the pilot we've been doing requirements analysis for our campus
along with user experience and gap analysis of the existing system.
For Spring we are going to make some fairly minor updates to the
UI...mostly visual and information design...to support students
taking the evaluations and instructors viewing results. Aaron and
other at Unicon are doing the development work with us. As we move
forward to future phases, we'll likely get into some of our deeper
requirements around evaluation management including some visual and
information design to the administration pages. For now, I wanted to
share our Spring updates with the community and find out if they
should be more broadly adopted, which would be out best case
scenario. I've tried to make minimal changes and keep mind that many
of you have been running this system for some time now. That said,
I'm new to the community so could be missing something that is more
subtle. And of course, it is different for those of you who have
users already familiar with the system as it is.
Being new to the community, I'm also not sure what your process is for
getting buy in to make these changes in trunk so I could use some
advice there. I'll start with sharing the designs and jiras and
starting a conversation around them. Feedback, questions, general
thoughts encourages and welcome!
