[Contrib: Evaluation System] Evaluations 1.4 Beta 01 Tag

Hi everyone,

   I'd like to announce the availability of the Evaluations 1.4 Beta 01 Tag (https://source.sakaiproject.org/contrib/evaluation/tags/1.4.0-B01/) based on the newly created 1.4.x evaluations branch. We will be deploying this release to the Sakai QA5 (http://qa5-us.sakaiproject.org/portal) server soon, running with Sakai 2.9. We'll also be sending out a doodle poll for a first ever Evaluations Test Fest in order to move this release forward, possibly before the end of 2011.

   As part of deploying the new Evaluations tag to the QA5 server, we will backup and then drop the database, as the most expedient way to deploy the Sakai 2.9 alpha release. If anyone thinks there's a good reason to convert the existing database, please let me know.
