I could talk about Oxford's use for 10 mins.

This would cover using the tool in a stand-alone fashion, ie, everything is performed via the UI, no behind the scenes DB manipulation.

I would talk about conducting course evaluation, running public surveys and data gathering (eg, getting dietary requirements for summer school attendees).

This would demonstrate the flexibility of the tool and show it is not just a one-trick pony for doing top-down institution-wide evaluation.

FYI folks. This is for our panel session. 30 mins is not very long, so we'll need to be clear about what we want to promote and get out of the session. We have the BoF on Thursday for internal coordination issues, but this is more about promoting the tool and getting more folks involved.

Dear Nicola,

As the Lead of the "Expanded Solutions " track, I am pleased to announce that your session, titled "The Sakai Evaluation System Update" has been accepted. Please forward this message to all your co-presenters as they have not been contacted directly.

To accommodate the quality and volume of the session proposals, your session has been awarded a 30 minute slot instead of the 60 minutes that was indicated on the proposal. It will be scheduled right before the "iRubric for Sakai Assessments and Outcomes" by Ramesh Sabetiashraf (rs at reazon.com<mailto:rs at reazon.com>), so you might want to get in touch with him and see how one session can lead to the other.
If you have any question or concern, do not hesitate to contact me!

Action items: A) If your title, description and bio are ok, simply reply +1 to approve this change in length. B) If you want to update your title, description, or the participants' bios, please reply to this message with the updated information. I will make sure the updates make it to the final program.

Thank you,

Mathieu
