[cle-release-team] hibernate upgrade - 2.10+ only right?

Just wanted to see if anyone feels like we should try to get the
hibernate upgrade into 2.9.

I am thinking we probably should not.... but it might be nice to allow
people to work against the newer (still way behind the current)
version for the next couple years. Especially since the version we are
using is really out of date and will be out of support before 2.10 is
out (most likely).
