it looks like 1.2.2-SNAPHOT was in sonatype snapshots. Just kicked a build off on jenkins to repopulate if nessesary ...

Checkout the 2.9.x branch.
Referring to SNAPSHOTS in our code which is built is sorta our
community practice for .x branches but referring to SNAPSHOTS of
unbuilt code (which is what is happening here) is a poor practice.
