Subject: [sakai2-tcc] Reminder - TCC - Community Collaborator - Thursday, Sept 13, 4 pm EDT (8 pm GMT)

Proposals from last meeting. Any objections to theTime Zone issue for TCC - Community Collaborator meetings? If it is okay then I can start polling Eastern/Central folks for best regularly scheduled meeting time and polling European and other time zones for the next monthly meeting.

PROPOSAL - Time Zone issues:
To maximize participation and minimize inconvenience we are thinking of rescheduling regular TCC meetings to most convenient time of the regular participants, which is primarily Eastern and Central times. To encourage other time zones, I'll use a Doodle poll to see what will work best for one meeting a month? Does that sound okay? Hopefully we can then find a way to include Jean Francois Leveque (sp.?) and Steve Swinsburg at least once a month this way. Hopefully will hear from other time zones as well.

MMM - Sounds good

PROPOSAL - Monthly participation report
Okay, on this one either the line was fading or my brain was, so I don't think I got the details. But essentially we are thinking I would produce, with assistance I would presume/hope, a monthly participation report at the institution/vendor level, not at the individual level. I think this is an idea worth trying, though it might take a bit of effort to get it off the ground. I think we would want to get some metrics, but at the same time the team acknowledges the limitations of metrics, they can be misleading. If we did something like this, I would run a prototype of the report by TCC before publishing anywhere else. What do you think?

MMM - I'd prefer to see an individual and institution report. 1 person at an institution working a lot will have their participation minimized by an institutional report. That's not very motivational
