The Sakai Foundation is seeking ways to improve the coordination of
release management, quality assurance and security for the Sakai
Collaboration and Learning Environment. The Foundation is therefore
approaching all Sakai Commercial Affiliates with a view to assessing
their level of interest in tendering to support coordination in these
areas. We are seeking a 2 days per week FTE to lead the coordination
of these activities, in conjunction with the Sakai CLE Technical
Coordination Committee. The successful applicant will work with
contributing members of the community to coordinate release processes
and volunteered functional and automated quality assurance staff. They
will also coordinate the release of security alerts for the Sakai CLE
in conjunction with the Sakai Security Working Group.

The Foundation is seeking a short response outlining the applicants
experience within the Sakai Community, their approach to the role, and
the level of remuneration expected. Please contact Ian
Dolphini.dolphin at sakaifoundation.org to express interest, or for
further discussion of the scope and nature of the role.
