[sakai2-tcc] Wush.net access ?

I *should* be authorized or I *am* authorized

I didn't realize I had the choice of which authentication method to try. I tried basic auth and was not able to get it to work with jira-python. I guess I'll play around a little more and/or look for other ways to get help.

Thanks,
Neal

I've only had to put in like 1-2 tickets and you should be authorized to do that as well if the need ever presented itself. I'm not sure they would answer developer/application specific questions since they just host the application.

OAuth is good if you have a web enabled app that many people will use. Basic is fine if it's just going to be a very small group. There is just a lot more work for Oauth, both on the server and on the client.

It looks pretty cool and I've gotten the sample code for non-authenticated access to work, but not able to get the authenticated access to work so far. For one thing, I'm not sure if I should be trying to get the basic authentication working or Oauth working (not sure what scheme our Jira hosted authentication is using). Also wondering if it would be a good idea for me to have Wush.net access - to ask questions like this AND as a backup (or prime) contact for when Jira is having problems.
