[Using Sakai] index filling up problem

Hi,

We have a problem with one of our two Sakai nodes (2.9.x). The indexworks is filling up the root partition all the way up. Is it safe to just "rm" everything in indexworks on this node and restart the Sakai service? I suppose the other node will copy the files back again to the faulty node.
