[Using Sakai] More than one announcement in MOTD

Hi everybody.

We are currently needing to have more than one announcement in MOTD at 
the same time.

I have tried to set the "items" property of MOTD tool to more than 1 
without success. Still only one announcement is shown. Is it possible to 
show more than one through configuration?

If it is not possible to do that, another solution would be putting an 
external HTML with some javascript as announcement, but I fear that MOTD 
does not allow that. Has anybody done something similar?

Replacing MOTD for a Web Content tool in every MyWorkspace would work, 
but I wonder if there is something easier to do instead.
