[Using Sakai] possible samigo timed test bug

Hello everybody,

 

I have tested  Sakai  at Bacau  University  in the last couple years, within
a physics course class, and I am very pleased and confortable with it .
Current version is 10.0.

I think that I have found a possible bug.

This weekend I have started an assessment as  timed test with an one and a
half hour period, for about 300 students. The timed test consist of ten
questions randomly selected from  three pools with different level of
difficulties. When I have finished to build  the test, I have choose to
publish it and send an e-mail  message to all the participants with the
announcement of the beginning of the testing period. Attached to the e-mail
was a link to the testing page.

 

I have also a student account to verify that all things are working well,
and I have accessed the testing page, via the link that I have received, and
completed the test in good conditions.

When, as admin, I have checked the recorded answers I have found that all is
ok and the test answers were properly recorded.

 

After a while,  I  have accessed once more the e-mail received with the
announcement of the beginning of the testing period. Finding there the link
to the testing page I have accessed it  again . The testing page has been
opened  with the Beginning Assessment button active.  

I have accessed this button and then the following message appeared:

"Submission limit reached - This assessment has already submitted and
additional submissions are not allowed. Please contact your instructor if
you have any questions. Number of submissions allowed 1"

 

I thought that all is ok and this is fine.

 

When, as admin, I have accessed the testing results, I have noticed that ALL
THE PREVIOUS RESULTS OF THAT  PROBING STUDENT ACCOUNT WERE RESET TO EMPTY
VALUES (NO ANSWER) RESULTS.

 

At the first timed test  the time recorded was around 2 minutes. The new
recorded time was 1h.30 minutes.

I think that if a real student will access the link  within his e-mail, it
is possible to erase all the answers that have been previously recorded !

 

Do you find this type of problems within other assessments?
