Thank you for your response.

I have figured it out why the exported file was so large – there are some Chinese characters on the page (see attached screenshot).  After I removed the Chinese characters, the exported file reduced from 1.3 GB  to 80M.  I am still not sure how the Chinese Characters made the file so large!

What type of things are in the archive file that it exports to make it so large? You should be able to just open it with a zip program like 7-zip. Do you have other content in that class that it's including to make it so large? I tried on nightly and the export size was as expected.

After having built a simple lesson including a few photos and a few links, I tried to test the (IMS) Export CC and Import CC feature.  The lesson page is less than 10k.  However the exported zip file ended up being 1.3 GB.  Any idea why the exported file size is so big?
