[Using Sakai] Why won't "Save and release to student" save and release?

Hi Ken,

Unfortunately there's no way to release item scores (at once) across
multiple tools in Sakai.

Apologies in advance if you already know this, but the Assignments tool
does have such a feature on a per-assignment basis: on the "Submissions"
page for an assignment (which you access when you click the assignment's
"grade" link), you should see a "Release Grades" link. Clicking on this
will release all student scores for that assignment.

One strategy might be to centralize grades through integration with your
gradebook, if you're not already doing that, and then prompt students to go
there to view scores. You can associate forums/topics/messages in Forums
with existing gradebook items, and you can do the same for assignments. For
assessments in Tests & Quizzes, scores can be sent automatically to your
gradebook upon student submission.
