Hi Ann,

sakai-user is probably a good place for your question for, or maybe a good place to answer ;-) , the question about preset logins.

I think most or all of the nightly servers - http://nightly2.sakaiproject.org do have existing logins. When we are performing QA testing, some folks have a preference to create their own accounts so we can avoid stepping on each other's [testing] toes. But try these logins - instructor, instructor1, instructor2 and for students - student0001, student0002 up through some very large number. I think I've used up to student0050, though I usually find that for testing groups, having 2 - 6 students is sufficient.

I think the QA servers may also have this option turned on.

The password is the name of your favorite collaboration and learning environment, all in lower case.

Don't forget it is easy to make your own accounts quickly, especially if there are only a few. If this is something you need to do over-and-over , I might be able to find a script for you that can run in Firefox and create your accounts automatically, using a tool called Selenium. It's a little bit of a pain to set up, but can be a good time saver.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Jira Webinar. I hope the information will be helpful.

Cheers,
Neal

From Jira documentation - "Searching against specified text — Enter the desired text in the 'Contains text' text box and press Enter/Return on your keyboard. The Summary, Description, Comments, Environment fields and all text-based custom fields will be searched. You can use modifiers in your search text, such as wildcards and logical operators, see Performing Text Searches."
