[Using Sakai] [Building Sakai] My Sakai 2.10 wish list

Hi Alan,

In regards to your good suggestion for consistency in labels for Date & Time, and Reorder - this is something that's easy to do, but we'd need a proposal on which (consistent) labels to use. Would you have the time to create a JIRA with suggested changes?

Thanks!
- Beth

> · Edit Tools/Page Order. Could definitely gain efficiency if there was one tool over two. I was taking a "baby step" approach and tossing out a few things that might be low-hanging fruit in the area of consistency or tool name improvement. I'd def +1 a single tool for adding, renaming, reordering, removing, hiding, etc. the tools in a site.

We're upgrading to Sakai 2.9 this August, so perhaps Forums 3.0 running in Sakai 2.9.2 would resolve it… after our first student orientation training, we'll know! :o)

If you use the Page Order tool, do you really need edit tools, isn’t all the edit Tools functionality covered by Page Order. Edit Tools could be dumped and replaced by an improved page order tool called “Tool Management”
