[Using Sakai] tools for project management

Hi Anders,

Could you be more specific?

The term "project management" means a lot of things to a lot of people. Are you looking for a task manager, a sign up tool, a way to identify dependencies between tasks and develop schedules with resources (like Microsoft Project) , etc?

I don't want to get your hopes up. I don't know of one. Just saying that the better you can articulate your needs the more likely somebody might have a solution, even if an imperfect one.

There are, of course, a practically uncountable number of "project management" tools available both open source and commercial. I don't know of any that integrate with Sakai. Which brings up another question. Why does it need to be a Sakai tool?

[P.S. I'm a PMP certified project manager through the PMI organization - http://pmi.org . So I know a thing or two about this, but just like with so many things, the amount of information available on PM tools is so vast that my view is just a slice. Though I also have a few contacts in the PM community, but probably none of them know anything about Sakai! ]

Cheers,

Neal Caidin
