Thanks. As a beginner - how do I do this? Is this something I can do for a course as an option? Or is it a site-administration action, or requires a setup option change & reboot?

Remove the asn.submit realm permission from the Instructor role.

Is there a simple way to exclude instructors and TAs from  gradebook and assignment lists, since they do not get grades and should not affect the averages?
