[Using Sakai] storm update

All:

It was suggested that I post an update on Hurricaine Sandy.  The damage is
extensive, and the stories you are seeing on TV are true.  The destruction
was extensive; the footprint of the damage, enormous.  I fear it will get a
bit worse -- e.g., people syphoning gas because stations are out -- before
improvinig next week.

New York University closed for a week.  This has never happened in 181
years.

Personally I am without power and likely will be for many more days.  On a
positive note, I'm getting used to it, and wondering if I should just tell
Con Ed not to send me any more $500 monthly bills!  More time to play board
games with the kids instead of TV.
