[Using Sakai] Question about Assignment announcement and link back to assignment

Hi,

When you create an Assignment, you can check "Add an announcement about 
the open date to Announcements".

Is the created announcement supposed to include a link back to the 
assignment?

If it's the case, which version of Sakai has it working or not for you?

If it's not the case, what is the "Assignment Link" label for in 
Announcements?
