I don't do math, but would just point that that wiris requires a
plug-in (along with being closed source?). As a general principle, I'd
call that a deal-breaker myself.

OAE is using MathJax for rendering of latex equations (and one can
also copy and paste mathml to/from different editors*; no plug-ins,
free and open source), but I'm sure at some point someone will want a
WYSIWYG editor for it.
