[Using Sakai] Requesting review of additional Gradebook1 features

1) Drop Highest / Drop Lowest / Keep Highest (SAK-19964)
+1 (One of the most requested features at our institution. Thank you!)

2) Generate PDF of all grades (SAK-20118)
+1 (While not a major requirement for us, I can see that it would help faculty that just want a quick printed report.)

3) Hide columns in all grades view (SAK-19731)
+1 (Could save faculty from scrolling woes. Can see it being useful, but making a mental note to remind help desk to be sure they verify that the faculty didn't "forget" they hid a column if they call saying there's missing grade info in the system.)

4) Show total points in All Grades view for instructor (SAK-20370)
+1 (Yes, please.  This would save faculty from clicking "details" for the reminder.)

Hi all,

I'm looking for a general sense of interest from the community on four
Gradebook1 features. If you have heard a similar request at your institution, please chime in. If you think the feature is not generally applicable and would only serve to clutter the interface, please chime in.

1) Drop Highest / Drop Lowest / Keep Highest (SAK-19964)

Screenshot available in the JIRA. Feature would extend the categories and weighting interface. For example, if category Quizzes has 10 items, instructor could choose to drop 2 lowest.


2) Generate PDF of all grades (SAK-20118)

Sample PDF is available in the JIRA. Ability for instructor to print all course grades to PDF.


3) Hide columns in all grades view (SAK-19731)

Screenshot available in the JIRA. Some instructors have many gradebook items. This feature introduces the ability to hide select columns from the all grades view.


4) Show total points in All Grades view for instructor (SAK-20370)

Screenshot available in the JIRA. Feature disabled by default via a Sakai property. If instructor is using weighted categories, do not display points. For all other instances, if enabled, display total number of points in All Grades view.
