[Using Sakai] Samigo attachment downloads as 0b file size

Warwick,

You might want to check out this Jira ticket,
http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-662, I think it covers what you
are seeing. By default Samigo stores uploads in the /tmp directory, and
on *nix machines, a reboot clears out the tmp directory. This would
remove any student uploads/recordings made in Samigo.

How could that stuff just disappear? After a reboot?

I've just discovered that the document I downloaded for the student prior
to the one I'm having a problem with now also downloads a 0b filesize.

Hi Warwich,

The attachment URL should look like:

https://serverXXX/access/content/attachment/SITE_ID
/Tests%20_%20Quizzes/...

Can you please check if your URL looks like the above one? Or if you have
something like:

https://serverXXX/access/content/attachment/
~bb77c5f7-5a43-4610-809b-2d97f7b4829c/Tests%20_%20Quizzes/...

Where "bb77c5f7-5a43-4610-809b-2d97f7b4829c" is the id of someone's My
Workspace.

If you have the correct URL, can you check if the student who gets 0b
download has the correct permission of that attachment?

Thanks,
Karen

Hi Samigo gurus

I've hit another little glitch. I have a an attachment on an assessment
(.doc) which has a filesize (27.14kb) but when downloads, is 0b and
unusable? Another attachment for another student downloads fine.

Thoughts? Any other way to extract the attachment?
